Terms and Conditions 'Cycling in Egmond Guarantees' - Package

Tenants can purchase the "Cycling in Egmond Guarantees" package from the landlord for each rental property. The cost is 10% of the total rental price, excluding any security deposit. If the tenant has purchased the "Cycling in Egmond Guarantees" package from the landlord, the tenant is entitled to the following for the property in question:

No costs are due in the event of cancellation in the event of death of relatives of the tenant or of persons for whom the rental property was rented;
- In addition to and in deviation from the cancellation cost scale from the BOVAG/SER rental conditions, no cancellation cost compensation is due - regardless of the 'timing' - in the event of cancellation in the event of the death of relatives of the tenant or of persons for whom the rental property was rented;

No cancellation fees will be charged (at least 48 hours in advance) if the person for whom the property was rented has become ill prior to the rental period and will not be using the rented property due to this illness;
- In addition to and in deviation from the cancellation fee scale from the BOVAG/SER rental conditions, no cancellation fee is due in the event of cancellation at least 48 hours in advance if the person for whom the object was rented is ill prior to the rental period and will not use the rented object due to this illness.

The deductible will never be charged in the event of damage to the rental property, unless the damage is caused by damage or loss (also known as theft or loss) outside the province or in Amsterdam.

In view of the BOVAG/SER rental conditions, the consumer is generally liable for damage to the entrepreneur per claim up to the deductible stated on the rental agreement. However, due to our 'Fietsen in Egmond Zekerheden' – Package, the following applies:
- The deductible will never be charged in the event of damage to the rented property consisting of loss, if the tenant can show the key to the rented property and reports the loss in Egmond (whether it was theft or loss) to the police and a copy of the report is submitted to the landlord.
- The rented item may not leave the province or go to Amsterdam in accordance with the Fietsen in Egmond General rental conditions. Missing items that occurred outside this region or in Amsterdam are therefore not covered by the Fietsen in Egmond guarantees.

All disputes arising from the lease agreements shall be governed exclusively by Dutch law. Furthermore, only the Dutch courts shall have jurisdiction to hear these disputes.
